天津茱莉亚学院预科已于2019年秋季开学，自同年9月至次年5月的周六，为8-18岁的高水平预科生提供综合性音乐教学课程。预科生师从优秀的教师团队，他们大多数为天津茱莉亚学院的常驻教师，从学术教学、榜样示范和教育引导等方面，在培养学生创造力和求知欲的同时，提高专业技术水平。周六的预科课程让具备艺术才华、发展潜力和音乐志向的学生接受训练以在大学期间适应严格的音乐学习。随着逐步意识音乐领域早期发展和训练的重要性，学院也将为学生营造出艺术天赋和专业技能全面发展的教育氛围。

工作职责：

教室教学的工作时间为一学年（同年9月至次年5月）的周六，工作地点为天津。以时薪形式支付。

• 根据纽约茱莉亚的课程设置，用英语和普通话双语备课和教授每周的音乐理论课

• 根据学生课上表现、态度和出勤情况对学生进行评估和评分

• 参加每年6月份的新生评估

  资格要求：

  ·         流利的普通话和英语

  ·         具有教授预科学生的经验和意愿

  ·         拥有课堂授课相关技能，如视听练耳和音乐理论的授课经验

  Description:

  Opening in the fall of 2019, The Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College offers a comprehensive conservatory music program on Saturdays from September until May, for advanced pre-college students ages 8-18. Pre-College students work with outstanding faculty, many of whom are members of Tianjin Juilliard School’s collegiate faculty. The faculty will serve as teachers, role models, and mentors guiding students as they develop technical proficiency while fostering creativity and intellectual curiosity. The Saturday Pre-College prepares students who exhibit talent, potential, and ambition to pursue serious music study at the college level. Recognizing the importance of early development and discipline in the music field, the school will offer an atmosphere where artistic gifts and technical skills can flourish.

   

  Job Responsibilities:

   

  The classroom teaching take place in Tianjin on Saturdays during the academic year (September – May). This position earns an hourly wage.

   

  • Prepare and teach weekly Music Theory lessons bilingually in      English and Mandarin, based on Juilliard New York’s curriculum

  • Assess and grade students based on class performance, attitude, and      attendance

  • Participate in the annual assessments for new students in June

     

    Qualifications:

    ·         Fluency in Mandarin and English

    ·         Experience and interest in working with Pre-College aged students

    ·         Experience teaching classroom skills courses such as Ear Training and Music Theory
